"Therapy is a collaborative process of exploring your experiences, making meaning of your past, and shaping the stories you want to live."

MY APPROACH

The stories we carry shape how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Therapy is an opportunity to explore these stories, question the ones that no longer serve us, and reconnect with possibilities that may have been overlooked. My work is grounded in narrative therapy and integrates approaches including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral strategies. Together, these approaches create opportunities to process difficult experiences, develop new perspectives, and move toward a life that reflects your values.

Narrative Therapy

Exploring the stories that shape identity, relationships, and meaning while creating space for new possibilities.

I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to your experiences, needs, and goals.

APPROACHES I INTEGRATE

EMDR

(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Processing distressing memories and their lasting effects, with attention to how these experiences influence the stories we carry.

ACT & Skills

(Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) Developing psychological flexibility, practical coping strategies, and a stronger connection to what matters most.

FEES

Therapy, on your terms.

Finding the right therapist is personal, and understanding the cost should be straightforward. Storia Therapy offers private-pay sessions with transparent fees and the possibility of out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your insurance benefits.

Conversation groups

Shared Experiences.
New Perspectives.

Storia Therapy offers small facilitated conversation groups where people with shared experiences can connect, reflect, and learn from one another. I am currently offering conversation groups for residents and doctoral students. These psychoeducational groups are designed to create space for real conversations, reflection, and connection around the unique pressures within the programs and trainings.

Resident Roundtable

A 6-week virtual discussion group for medical, dental, and other healthcare residents. Connect with others who understand the demands of training as we explore professional identity, workplace culture, burnout, and finding fulfillment both inside and outside of medicine.

Doctoral Dialogue

A 6-week virtual discussion group for doctoral students navigating the personal and academic demands of advanced study. Connect with fellow students as we explore academic expectations, perfectionism, identity, and what it means to find balance and meaning beyond achievement.
